In loving memory of my inspiring father, Mac Jooste. 31 May 1944 - 23 September 2008
"What are you doing Mac?", I asked one day. "I am trying to grab a bite of those white thingies passing by", Mac replied before asking eagerly: "Do you see them? Do you see the way the light catches them so beautifully?". The thing with Mac is he likes a snack of something beautiful and yummy every so often. I watched him pack out all his snacks onto his blue rock and stare at them for about an hour while sipping on his drink. "It is very important to eat with your eyes as well as with your mouth", he said and smiled with a warm, crazy smile.
